AKZ Youth Outreach Programme works to empower young people with the skills they need to make informed decisions, thereby creating a better society where youths are healthy, responsible, and actively involved in the continuous improvement of communities they live in.

AKZ Youth Outreach Programme connects young people to opportunities by:

Life Skills

For young people aged 14 to 20 years.

Highly interactive workshops where students explore topics such as:

  • Nature and limits of friendship.

  • Improving memory for studies.

  • How to deal with bullying at school.

  • How to deal with online bullying.

  • Caring for parents.

Each session is self-contained. Participants can attend sessions in any sequence, The number of sessions attended will add up to a Certificate of achievement.

 

Professional Excellence

For young people aged 21 to 35 years.

A variety of knowledge and skill-based sessions on topics including:

  • Finding meaning in work.

  • Negotiating skills for the work place.

  • Working for returns: returning to work.

  • Building character in the career.

  • Serving people not capital.

Each session is self-contained. Participants can attend sessions in any sequence, and participants can avail 1:1 career counselling and coaching from an accomplished team of professionals.
